The Migrant Action Centre is a migrant justice movement in Newfoundland and Labrador built by and for migrants, rooted in collective power, and committed to claiming space for all who call this place home.

Migrant rights are human rights! Join us to organize, learn, educate, and connect.

We take direct action, practice mutual aid, and care for each other. Together, we challenge injustice and build real change from the ground up.

We share tools, resources, and knowledge so everyone can stand up for their rights and support each other. No one is alone; our strength is collective.

We nurture strong relationships, amplify every voice, and create spaces where all belong. Our community’s power comes from standing together.

We’re building collective power for migrant justice rooted in solidarity, dignity, and action. Join us to organize, support, and demand real change. Every act of solidarity fuels our community’s fight for rights, safety, and belonging. No saviors, no charity, just people coming together for liberation.
Ready to get involved, ask questions, or become a member? We’re here to build power together. Reach out and let’s connect in solidarity.

We recognize that this land was never ceded or surrendered through treaty or agreement and that colonialism has been a violent and oppressive force in the lives of Indigenous peoples. We recognize the Indigenous nations and communities that have lived on and cared for this land for thousands of years, and we acknowledge the ongoing impacts of colonization and the ongoing struggle for self-determination and sovereignty.
We reject the systems of domination and control that have been imposed on Indigenous peoples and we stand in solidarity with Indigenous struggles for self-determination, sovereignty, and decolonization.
We are committed to building a world free from all forms of oppression and exploitation, and we recognize that this requires us to actively challenge and dismantle colonialism in all its forms.
We stand in solidarity with Indigenous peoples in their ongoing struggles for equity and justice, and we recognize that our work as migrants and supporters must be rooted in a commitment to decolonization and the restoration of Indigenous sovereignty. We honour the traditions, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples to this land and its people, and we are grateful for the opportunity to work on this land in a spirit of mutual aid, solidarity, and collective liberation.
