You are invited: Solidarity Circle

Attention all migrants and supporters! The Migrant Action Centre (MAC) is excited to invite you to our weekly "Solidarity Circle".

The solidarity circle is a space where migrants and supporters can come together to connect, organize, and build power for migrant justice in Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador.

At our Solidarity Circle, we embrace the values of mutual support, respect, and inclusivity. This is a place where all are welcome, regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexuality, or status in Canada (or the lack thereof). Our goal is to create a space where everyone feels heard and valued.

During each Solidarity Circle meeting, we engage in open and honest dialogue about the issues that impact migrant communities in Canada and Newfoundland and Labrador. We discuss our experiences, share knowledge, and strategize on how we can collectively take action to make positive change.

Through our Solidarity Circle, we aim to build a sense of community and a shared understanding of the struggles faced by migrants in Canada. We recognize that solidarity is a key principle of social justice and that it is only by working together that we can create a world where all people are treated with dignity and respect.

Our Solidarity Circle is not just a place for talking – it is also a space for action. We organize events, campaigns, and actions that challenge the systemic injustices faced by migrants. By bringing people together, we aim to create a movement that is inclusive, powerful, and transformative.

Whether you're a seasoned organizer or new to the movement, our Solidarity Circle is a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people, and take action for migrant justice. We hope to see you there!

Solidarity Circle takes place every week on Monday from 7:30 PM Newfoundland Time (7 PM Atlantic/6 PM Eastern) over Zoom. To sign up, click the link below.
